What is a Farm Stay in Sicily like?

Our Sicilian farm stay (or farmstay) is a place where guests stay with us in our house, or on our property, which happens to be a farm. It’s like a B&B because a homemade breakfast is served, but smaller, with only one guest room and a separate studio apartment available for guests.

It’s also similar to an Agriturismo because there are farm animals, but it’s not a working farm. We don’t produce meat, cheese, or produce for market, but we do grow many fruits and vegetables for our own consumption and enough to share with our guests. It’s a small, hobby farm where all of are animals are loved pets.

It’s a place where you can enjoy a more personal experience, have plenty of outdoor space to wander around, relax in the shade, sunbathe or star-gaze on the roof, interact with animals, play bocce ball, BBQ and so much more. Why be confined to a hotel room when you can have all this instead?
